The museum has a group of works by artists born in Gunma, including Fukuzawa Ichiro, Yamaguchi Kaoru, and Tsuruoka Masao and the Koho-an Inoue Collection, made up of classic Japanese and Chinese art. It also contains a wide range of modern Japanese and modern Western art, contemporary art, textile.
Okawa Museum of Art
(大川美術館)
Location: Kiryu
The museum has eighty works by Shunsuke Matsumoto and Hideo Noda; there are many works by other artists associated with these two. The gallery also has a hundred sketches by Takeji Fujishima and two hundred drawings by Toshi Shimizu.

Permanent installations at Hara Museum ARC take full advantage of its expansive grounds and lush greenery. These include works by Andy Warhol, Olafur Eliasson, Jean-Michel Othoniel and others. Together with the museum buildings, whose design by Arata Isozaki itself may be considered works of art, these various installations form a landscape dotted with artworks. Displayed within the museum on an indefinite basis are also large-scale installations by Yayoi Kusama and Tabaimo.
